Starting his clock on a team going nowhere? What's the argument for not bringing him up? That he'll be overmatched and will be mentally ruined?

OptimistI'm beginning to doubt that the Sox can win this game.
Well, if they're waiting until they're going somewhere he'll never get called up.Starting his clock on a team going nowhere?
I’m with you fam. Been riding it since 2020And Cora has had multiple years
(this message brought to you by the council to Fire Cora)
It's a good idea. The Titanic would look much better with the deck chairs rearranged like that. With a lineup this weak… would it make more sense to at least stack the productive hitters rather than spread them out with .350 OPS guys in between every .750+ OPS guy?
Too many tourists (not most games but this weekend certainly)I have a novel idea. STOP buying tickets. Stop going to games. The only way they are going to make a better effort to put a decent product on the field is if it hurts their bottom line.
1. Something must be done. It's a good idea. The Titanic would look much better with the deck chairs rearranged like that.
They do have O’Neil and Casas back to back but Reyes in the 2 hole is just asinine. (Prom night)With a lineup this weak… would it make more sense to at least stack the productive hitters rather than spread them out with .350 OPS guys in between every .750+ OPS guy?
After the whole pitch signaling thing I didn’t want Cora retained/brought back. I don’t think I’ve seen anything to really alter my perception that he doesn’t bring as much to the table as so many baseball peeps say that he does.Yeah, agree that he plays big role in the focus and mental toughness
Also, Cora is one constant over the years or horrid defense. He’s certainly not helping
Lose a year of control, in a season the owners are arguably punting on.What's the argument for not bringing him up? That he'll be overmatched and will be mentally ruined?
I’d put Wong there for now…. And break Reyes ankle. They do have O’Neil and Casas back to back but Reyes on the 2 hole is just asinine. (Prom night)
I wonder if Wallace Hartley knew Sweet CarolineIt's a good idea. The Titanic would look much better with the deck chairs rearranged like that.
That is .277 higher than our third baseman.Yoshida slugging .277
He’s paid a lot more thoughThat is .277 higher than our third baseman.
It's like that scene for Animal House when Dean Wormer tells Bluto his GPA is 0.0.
To me, the only reason to keep him around is that he’s (sadly) one of the bigger names on the team. Until they get better or at least more exciting players, we may be stuck with him because he somehow draws fans / generates interestI’m with you fam. Been riding it since 2020
Riveting novel? Don't hold back.I don't have the game on. Too painful, anyway in the middle of a riveting novel.
Just want to say that Cora has nothing to do with injuries to Story, Pivetta, Devers, and nothing to do with the inadequacy of subs like Hamilton and Reyes.
This is a front-office problem.
When they were playing well out West, was that Cora's doing?
The whole team has fallen apart owing to injuries and inadequate depth. It's really sad.
At this rate the student tickets will be going for $4 eachI have a novel idea. STOP buying tickets. Stop going to games. The only way they are going to make a better effort to put a decent product on the field is if it hurts their bottom line.
That’s the second Dean Wormer reference tonight. Keep em coming. Makes the game more bearableThat is .277 higher than our third baseman.

Here hereI wanted Cora gone because he was part of the management team that flew the plane into the ground 2 years in a row. Plus, I think Breslow should be able to choose his guy. We heard two weeks ago that everything was going to be different, well it's not. I know the Story injury is a killer but the team is just awful defensively in the infield and that's supposed to be something he is an expert on.
It's about a welder who solves murdersRiveting novel? Don't hold back.
He (well Bailey mostly) has them overachieving. To me, the only reason to keep him around is that he’s (sadly) one of the bigger names on the team. Until they get better or at least more exciting players, we may be stuck with him because he somehow draws fans / generates interest
I personally don’t care about any of that and I would be more interested if he was gone, but maybe we’re the outliers
Many years ago, I got a ticket to see the Astros play in the Astrodome because I bought french fries from some fast food place. At this rate the student tickets will be going for $4 each
They’re requiring .edu addresses for college students now. They’re gonna regret that soon.At this rate the student tickets will be going for $4 each
But think how many prospects you can get into the Top 100 list that way.Well, if they're waiting until they're going somewhere he'll never get called up.
There are like 7367372726 businesses in Tampa and Orlando where if you buy something you get 2 tix to Rays gamesMany years ago, I got a ticket to see the Astros play in the Astrodome because I bought french fries from some fast food place.
Are they really overachieving? He (well Bailey mostly) has them overachieving.
But I got to see the Astrodome (which kinda sucked, TBH).There are like 7367372726 business in Tampa and Orlando where if you buy something you get 2 tix to Rays games
My daughter will be going to college in the fall, possibly at Northeastern. I'm pretty tight with her so I'm sure she'll clue me in to her college email address. They’re requiring .edu addresses for college students now. They’re gonna regret that soon.
That was pre-trash can days, so dirty? But I got to see the Astrodome (which kinda sucked, TBH).
It's as bad as the Hobson years. It's never been more over for this organization
They’re above .500 as of this momentThey’re just not close to competitive right now and it’s excruciating to watch, especially after the last two years.
We know where he took it thoughTanner almost made it a quality start. He took one for the team tonight, a bit.
