You made K Miller good!!I'm never starting a game thread again
They have no other choice.Chara is a fucking corpse, maybe playing him 800 minutes a game the first half of the season is a bad idea.
Yeah, I meant to post something like this with my original post, but forgot. I'm the Kevan Miller of internet posting. They have no other choice.
Agreed. They aren't very good. D is killing them, K. Miller and Trotman should be in the AHL.They have no other choice.
They just aren't very good. The D is a fatal flaw. The run they went on in December was mostly Rask getting white hot and posting a .950 for a month. Masked the real problems. Possession is mediocre and they give up far too many scoring chances and high danger shots.
I forget who the Flyer was that beat him to wipe out the icing in the third period, but Chara had a pretty big head start but looked SO SLOW. He got skated past like he was standing still.Chara is a fucking corpse, maybe playing him 800 minutes a game the first half of the season is a bad idea.
Same thing happened on the goal that tied it. Trotman could have played it better, but what started as a 2 on 2 developed very quickly into a 2 on 1 when Chara started skating in the molasses that Simmonds apparently left behind.I forget who the Flyer was that beat him to wipe out the icing in the third period, but Chara had a pretty big head start but looked SO SLOW. The whole "need to try harder" thing is right there with "grit and compete level" for shit that hockey people say that means very little... its absolutely a talent issue. With Krejci out, the Bruins are icing a weak third line which is allowing teams to play better matchups against the Bergeron and Spooner lines. Vatrano and Ferraro were great stories that came in like gangbusters but they haven't been able to do anything lately (and not for lack of effort, Vatrano's been flying around but he's been stifled). Connolly's been snakebit forever, he's had plenty of chances but has been lacking the finish. Its really hard to gripe about the fourth line, because, well, its a fourth line and Talbot was getting some love in this very thread - not lack of effort - but if you're relying on Max Talbot to be the one who is going to put your team over the top, ehhhhh. Also, teds, I definitely think it is more that they aren't talented enough not that they aren't trying hard. I know I only get to watch on TV, but I don't get the feeling that any of the guys are just going through the motions, they just aren't good enough to keep up for 60 minutes without making backbreaking mistakes, whether they be physical, mental, or Kevan Miller.
