So stupid, you have a 5 out lineup and guys are just forcing shit into the D instead of moving the ball.
I don't dislike Luka. He's a competitive dick but he is also one of the best athletes in the world so I get it. The other two don't seem to be good people.
I can’t hate on Jaylen going for the dagger after his 4 point play. Maybe not in June but in January sure.
This, especially after he followed up the 4 point play with a sick block on Kleber too. JB and Tatum have been balling all night on both ends.
Kyrie is really funny to watch too because he does a lot of business that makes it look like he is trying but inevitably all he has in his toolkit is swatting your hands as you blow by hoping the whistle doesn’t blow.
Outside of that foul haha but yeah, he's been awesome for a couple months now
So a reasonable trade off in terms of efficiency by the Js ... kind of suck against lousy SA... play well against a decent team
I want him to carry the midrange into the spring. Where he has gotten into trouble is driving into 2-3 guys trying to get all the way to the rim every play and it just doesn’t work against the tighter playoff defenses.
But if he is feeling that midrange shot he can get a good look anytime he wants because they have to respect the drive.
Jaylen destroyed Luka tonight. Absolutely abused him. It was cruel and unusual. I enjoyed every second of it.
Talented player and can be a load to handle but yeah a lot of the numbers feel a bit empty with how much he gives back at the other end.
By the way in past seasons this is absolutely the kind of game they’d cheesedick away and get dickpunched by a Luka 3 at the buzzer.
I think it’s pretty clear they coasted yesterday knowing they wanted to get up for tonight’s game. Impressive to take both in TX on a B2B without a full squad either night.
Dallas doesn’t do a whole lot for me. They might win a first round series if Luka and Kyrie go off but too many traffic cones on defense and the supporting cast besides Hardaway Jr. isn’t all that impressive. Someone said it upthread but wouldn’t surprised if the applecart gets upset given some of the personalities they have should things not go their way. Big implosion potential team.
