Didn't they fully melt down at the end of the year last year? I'm surprised they're above .500.
Well if Kyrie and Luka are engaged at both ends you can win a bunch of games, but, uhhh, yeah…
That was an impressive win. The Jays weren’t happy with the chirping about their play the last two games, so they decided to put on a clinic on how to impose your will on a game. 74 points on 43 shots, 30 FTs, and zero turnovers.
Tatum with 39/11/5/3/2 and Brown with 35/3/4/0/2. their 4 blocked shots were crucial in the win.
I love how Jaylen has been so energized when defending the ball this season. Not only is he good at it, but it allows JT to defend a lesser threat and lurk for steals and help opportunities. It also allows him to defensive rebound.

Grant really stuck it to his old team tonight, scoring two points in 18 minutes, making a layup and missing all four of his threes.

If basketball was an offense/defense type game where you only had to play one.. I'd love him on my team on the offensive side... but it isn't. It's all well and good to be a great offensive player, but IMO you can't be considered truly great unless you can play at least a little bit of defense. It limits what your team can do so much by having even one player who doesn't play D and it's a reason I think Dallas and Luka will never win anything.
Defense was really great tonight. Kept both Dallas stars pretty inefficient. Jrue and White on Kyrie (23 points on 20 shots) and Luka had 33 points on a very inefficient 30 shots.
