BTW I understand the Miami angst still, but I don't think that C's team had much of a chance against the Nuggets in the Finals. At least, I tell myself that.

Smart & TimeLord swapped out with Jrue & KP, health permitting? Oh yeah baby.

I hope the C's staff is figuring out how to stop Denver and how they need to change how they play Jokic... The Sixers and Bucks still need to be figured out a bit as well.. but in a 7 game series against anyone it's hard for me to see the C's losing four times.

Celtic record is 27 threes. God, Reggie is lazy.

Him giving stats is my equal to attempting to shoot a basketball to be fair. But I did have that under the other basket deep 3 once so that's me 1, Reggie 0.

Celtics now have 8 games in which they've scored 130+. They now have only 22 total seasons, including the postseason, where they've had as many games. Franchise record is 24 in 1959-60.

Walsh sighting! The human Gino Time.

I think you misread that like I did the first 3 times, they are referencing last year's Cs and Nuggets teams, not this year's versions

Yeah.. but the second sentence was with the replacements for this year.. and I figured the way Denver is playing a Celts/Nuggets finals is very possible.

Tonight is the 5th time the Celtics have scored 140+ this season. That's just the fifth time they've had as many games in the regular season, joining:

-1966-67 (5)
-1959-60 (7)
-1961-62 (8)
-1960-61 (8)

Good things happen when it's 7+ times. Just 2 more please.

Weird game from Holiday. On one hand, 17/5/5 on 8 shots in 29 minutes is great. On the other hand, 3 turnovers and at least a couple of other times in which passes just bounced off him to the Heat.

Will say.. after the KP injury with White on the bench.. Drue, JB, Kornet, PP and Hauser put the game away.. and their were several instances of Drue just backing his man down and getting a pretty easy layup. Specifically remember a few against Herro where he just scored over him super easy. I missed the first half..were the turnovers then?

3 turnovers from a point guard is fine? also a couple of those were he was put in a shit position by the pass

Unless they counted it for Al, at least one was from Al throwing a breakout pass to him in the middle of like 3 guys. Then at least one a pass just slipped through his hands. Not bad decision-types of turnovers.

Overall seems like his shooting touch is coming around. Hitting lots of big threes and finding those pockets in the paint that he was finding earlier in the season but missing not the bunnies as much anymore.

One of Jrue's turnovers was in the opening seconds of the game going behind halfcourt on a pass, very bizarre.

Picking the smallest of nits, but 3 turnovers in 29 minutes (when he averages under 2 in 34 minutes) and when he had at least two others that were credited to other guys (yeah the decision making by the others wasn't great, but it still seemed like the ball was just bouncing off of his hands) isn't super. It was just an odd thing that I noticed, it wasn't even a bad game for him. It seems like can bully ball his way to a layup against every guard in the Heat rotation. Between him and KP, Boston has so many more opportunities for easy offense against Miami. Games like this are why the 1 seed seems so important, the only teams with enough firepower to scare me are Philly and Milwaukee, and I'd love for those two to have a monster 2nd round series while Boston gets a slightly easier draw.
