Picking the smallest of nits, but 3 turnovers in 29 minutes (when he averages under 2 in 34 minutes) and when he had at least two others that were credited to other guys (yeah the decision making by the others wasn't great, but it still seemed like the ball was just bouncing off of his hands) isn't super.
There were two plays wrapped around the half, I think. The ball went into the corner and then out to Jrue at the nail - both passes went through his hands. Though, it was the same end of the court, so maybe 3rd and 4th Q (C's going L-R on the broadcast).

BTW I understand the Miami angst still, but I don't think that C's team had much of a chance against the Nuggets in the Finals. At least, I tell myself that.

Smart & TimeLord swapped out with Jrue & KP, health permitting? Oh yeah baby.
Even last year, BOS was one of the worst (if not the worst) matchup for DEN. MIA was one of the best. DEN was really rooting for MIA.

I think a BOS-DEN seroes would have had DEN favoured but it would have been a great series. If only . . . . Sigh.

Honestly I have such respect for Heat Culture, but I also hate it. Spo and Riley are great at their jobs together and they know how to build a roster. They're remarkably annoying, which amps up the respect, weirdly?
You nailed it. Respect but I hope they lose miserably for the rest of their natural lives (Spo) or eternity (Riles).

The Heat have now lost 5 in a row. It's been over 9 years since the Celtics had a losing streak that long (November 21-December 2, 2014).
Heat Culture means being willing to face regular season adversity, something the Soft Celtics will never understand. You have to be willing to look losing square in the eye.

You’re right on the money. They have no business being as good as they are after losing all of Lebron, Wade and Bosh for nothing. It’s been a while but they rebuilt without receiving a PP/KG trade return and they didn’t bottom out for 5 years to build through the draft.

And that stadium. The view of Miami they were showing during the game with the stadium in the forefront were amazing. I can’t imagine what it would feel like to show up there for work each day.
