We will all die at some point after watching this game. Go Brogdon!Fun fact: He's a nihilist.
Yeah, might as well tell the defender the three is coming.Tatum can be so exasperating. He likes to play around with the ball until there's about 6 seconds left on the shot clock. That sequence with Langford at about 1:40 had me just about screaming.
I liked House more than Perk, but agree, they should have a game a week like this. I like also how both Perk and House call Scal for his BS and Scal is obviously terrified of bothPerk and Scal can team up for the next decade IMHO.
Zion is pretty damn bouncy, but it's really only useful to him on offense.I can’t think of anyone—ever—whose second leap is as quick as TLs
Another player would have drawn the foul from TL when he was in the air but good thing Romeo's not there yet on offense.Lol, Langford got TimeLord in the air too and it didn't matter.
I’m concerned Smart is starting to break down and that’s the biggest reason for the fall off on D. Poor guy is 29 going on 70.Smart left with a left knee contusion though Abby said he was rubbing the right one. I assume Smart is a giant bruise by January
I'm just glad we didn't have to worry about this!I don't care if this is mid-season doldrums, if the Celtics manage to lose this one ... good God.
...which is fine, if Al could stay with a guy he's face-up against at the elbow and prevent them from getting a layup. Which seems like something he should be able to do. But he's just too damn slow. His awareness is always there, but he gets beat on reaction time and acceleration.Al hasn't wanted to play Center for 5yrs, he's better as a 4
Brad tried to pigeonhole him in there also
It was a mistake then, its a mistake now
he was scuffling this time last season, he'll be fine guarding guys like Giannis, O'Neil, Dray, etc...which is fine, if Al could stay with a guy he's face-up against at the elbow and prevent them from getting a layup. Al on a shorter forward shouldn't need backup to prevent a layup, but he does.
There's nights when Al just loses a step. I don't know what it is -- the normal variance in conditioning and fitness and quickness that comes with the long season, or that he's 36. I think as you get older, obviously the the periods where he looks spry will be shorter, and the periods where he looks like a 36 year-old will become longer.he was scuffling this time last season, he'll be fine guarding guys like Giannis, O'Neil, Dray, etc
Rob needs to be inserted back into the starting lineup. TL makes everyone around him better on D. He completely changes the dynamic of his rotations on several levels
Me, too. I'm concerned he's going the Pedroia route. Goes balls out until his early 30's and then the body just starts to break down.I’m concerned Smart is starting to break down and that’s the biggest reason for the fall off on D. Poor guy is 29 going on 70.
