I'm still confused on why the Pacers got possession.
Absolutely batshit insane result if the call is whistle and foul on the floor how the fuck can you project a rebound after play has been stopped. Replay is a fucking travesty in this league.

it shouldn’t be lost in the ref-ball that shooting with 3 seconds left in a tie game is truly horrific clock management. That’s on both Joe and Jaylen.

I want Tommy to rise from the grave and choke an official out.

There’s no world where the second is more a foul than the first.

this crew was fine for 47 minutes and then turned into the Tim Donaghy clowns at the end
The crew got both right though. No fuckin idea how NJ overturns Jaylens. Incompetence

But also gjge again saving the timeout resulting in a godawful possession and not getting the last shot. Literally your only job with the ball in a tie game is to get the last shot no questions asked. Who trusts this team to make a game winning play if they only have one play to do it? How can you?
They didn't get the last shot because Jaylen got hit on the head and they didn't call it

2 minute report will be interesting. I'll be curious to see the reasoning on the Jaylen Brown non-foul, if they go in depth.

The refs cheated the Celtics out of a big win. That third quarter defense by the Celtics was inexcusable

So stay pissed off about this and take it to the T’Wolves.

we don’t know who said what on the review—these guys own the decision until NBA says otherwise.

as a couple of us have asked: why did Indy get the ball after Jaylen reversal?

I do not think the KP one is a foul—are you guys seeing the hand contact after release? That’s marginal, but also after the red light.

Not only did that fuck up take the ball out of Jaylen’s hands at the line, it gave Indy the TO they needed to get a last shot. Can’t wait to have the outcome of a playoff game determined by NJ. What a joke of of a system.

It feels like Secaucus feeling more of a need to have an impact to justify the existence of replay. Have seen a lot of really odd overturns this year after they would basically overturn nothing.

It was a hectic play and his player was driving at 3 men. It’s where I think even if you want to let the players play you probably have to take the TO because he was going east west into trouble and wasn’t in control of the situation.

In the end I have no idea what the refs were doing at the end there. For me though in spite of how unpopular it is around here to criticize this team I agree with Jed’s point that they just really don’t inspire confidence in me in close and late

regardless of the call's wish they were trending towards taking the final shot of the game, Jaylen went a bit too early. Small things like that can make big differences in critical games.

Joe skulks off the floor when he should be excoriating the officials.
He’s from the Brad Stevens camp on that—I wish he took more after Bob Huggins.

He should have dated them to give him a T after the KP “foul”….those two calls back to back are mind boggling.

still unclear why it wasn’t a jump ball on the Jaylen foul

In fairness not having the ball in Tatum’s hands at the end didn’t do them any favors. I do find Joe’s stubbornness about not using the TO on the final possession odd. It isn’t working.

The KP play could have been called on the arm or with the lower body. That's a clear foul even at end of game.

Are you saying the refs on the floor looked at the replay at the table or it went to NJ for the decision? If Indiana gained the uncontested rebound off Jaylens miss they retain possession.
