right here
At least he probably wouldn't have him on the ice with two minutes left in a game they're down one though right?
Oh. Never mind.

Nice win, but...

Defensemen ice time:

Chara 24:38
K. Miller 21:59
Trotman 20:53
Seidenberg 19:05
Krug 16:54
McQuaid 15:19

In the two games since Seidenberg has been back, Krug has been under 17 minutes. And he played well tonight, better than Miller and Seidenberg.

It was nice to see Trotman get time, he earned it, but at the same time it is odd that a guy who Julien almost always scratches is getting 20+ minutes on a rare occasion when he does dress.

K.Miller led the team in PK ice time and logged more minutes at even strength (19:05) than everyone but Chara (21:33) and Trotman (19:02).

It is becoming clear that Claude sees K.Miller as a #2/#3 and Krug as a #5. Who knows what the hell he thinks of Trotman - likes him well enough when he is playing but rarely lets him play.

I don't think he's the right coach for this team anymore.

Occurred to me this morning that the description on this board of Curtis Granderson as looking so "Hitterish" applies to Kevan Miller—he gets points for looking so darn Defendery out there. You can really see how much he wants to keep the puck out of the net. A for effort and all...
