Fuck the haters(Felgar and Max) who can’t just enjoy a team that loves to play for each other. They probably hate White and Holliday are having a contest who has the most blocks by the end of the season
I’m going to enjoy Steve Dangle’s little meltdown later tonight. It’ll absolutely be a vicious slewfoot that Wes MacAuley would never call against Boston because Brad Marchand gave him a signed stick at an ASG once.
Like, I don’t believe the league is rigging things for the Leafs, but I’d invite Leafs fans to explore the corollary that goes with that: they’re not rigging anything against the Leafs either.
PS: meltdown #2 will happen when DoPS declines to do anything.
I’m honestly worried that the guys in the league office will hear everyone screaming about it on the Fan tomorrow morning that they’ll decide that they need to suspend him.
Hopefully this club finally puts that narrative to bed. By my count there was 8 Sweeney draft picks in the lineup tonight:
Poitras (2022 2nd)
Lohrei (2020 2nd)
Beecher (2019 1st)
Swayman (2017 4th)
Frederic (2016 1st)
Steen (2016 6th)
DeBrusk (2015 1st)
Carlo (2015 2nd)
And that’s obviously not counting McAvoy & Lauko. That’s a lot of talent through the draft added since he took over.

There was a lot of gnashing of teeth over the Poitras and Lohrei picks because they didn’t align with the draft experts opinions. Why’d we pick a guy ranked 128 at 62! It’s too early for victory laps and all but I think their progress just goes to show how much NHL drafting is a crap shoot and despite the reputation the Bruins are actually good at finding NHL players in the draft despite picking in less than favorable positions.

His meltdown is posted, and yeah it’s a lot of shade at Wes, some at Marchand, but then a lot at the lack of a response from the Leafs.
Worth noting that in that video you can see that at least Marchand's stick was trying to do some work on the puck. Liljegren, ironically, was leaning back into Marchand and jamming his own stick between Marchand's legs, headed the wrong direction.

Also, they (espn) need to drop the graphics above players names as if it's NHL29. So friggin annoying with the amount of space it takes up and all the other shit it blocks on the screen. ESPECIALLY during the PP in OT. Christ get it off my screen.
