The Hawks are 25th in defrtg. If Boston can’t score against them at home then it’s time to worry.

Porzingis and Jrue out, Horford and Hauser starting. It’ll be interesting to see if Walsh gets any minutes or if they just activated him as deep depth. I’m assuming the latter because it’s hard to see him being at a point where it makes sense to play him over Brisset or Stevens. This is the sort of game where the guys outside the top-9 who are competing for rotation minutes will get a chance to prove themselves. I’m not really a believer in any of them as more than guys who can competently eat regular season minutes, but this week we have a need for that skill.
NBA.com had it wrong. It has been updated with Banton starting and Hauser on the bench. I like this more as Banton is probably best used not when Brisset is not on the court to minimize lineups with two players who cannot shoot at all.
Great defense by Jaylen, who is covering Trae in the half court, and Trae flips out and gets a technical.
Banton may be Brad's worst signing ever (outside of extending the coach.) He really does nothing out there.
If basketball didn't require shooting, passing, rebounding or defense, Banton would be above average
My eyes see a solid NBA player outside of his inability to score at any level. That is a big aside, but I think gambling on young athletic wings that can’t score as depth is a reasonable approach.
Team is playing well together on offense across multiple units so far. I don’t think I’ve seen a possession where it felt like they gave up on trying to run a reasonable offense.

Anyone around him moves at 3x the speed when the ball is loose, it's jarring to watch.
You simply cannot allow Kornet to end up guarding the perimeter every play. Joe needs to change something with the defense because it is killing them.

The three was missed. I’m not sure the contest has anything to do with it. I think any gain in the move is lost with all the rebounds he is now out of position to get.
