Don’t want to get too deep into the psychology of it but I wonder if there is some appreciable difference in approach between “this team sucks, we should walk over them” and “we need to beat this team by 23 points come hell or high water.”

They didn’t force anything tonight, played team ball, and hard defense, and getting the 23 was almost never in doubt.

I just got this thing called the SuperBox 4 Pro, and it's fucking awesome. I should start a thread about it. $250, one time fee, and I have everything. 1,700 channels, every thing you can get on an app, all PPV's, live television, everything on demand any time, every movie imaginable, every episode of every show imaginable...

I'm about to cut the cord on cable, and every app and save like $500+ a month.

Only downside is one box per television (so $250 per television) and there's no real DVR type thing, so it doesn't remember where you finished watching a movie/show, so you have to fast forward to where you fell asleep, etc., but it's pretty fucking great. I get every broadcast of every game, even soccer in other countries and shit.
interesting. A thread in Byte me or TBLtS would be nice.

Also what are you getting paid for the promo?? Haha

I have no idea who Lamar Stevens in, but apparently he had a whopping seven seconds of playing time and got credited with 1 blocked shot. That's efficiency, I guess.

LOL, I wish I was getting paid for it, because it should really sell itself.

As most around here know, I'm like a 3 year old when it comes to technology. I have 7 Netflix accounts on various credit and debit cards and Paypal, because my wife and I can't remember PW's, so we just open new accounts and then can't figure out how to close them.

I found out about the Super Box from the bartender at our Country Club. He brought one in on Thursday night to watch football (they couldn't stream Amazon at the bar) and he started telling us what it was. Next thing you know, like 10 of us were ordering them. Of course, he had to come to my house to install them for me (which I think entailed plugging it in and some cable from the box to the television that came with the box). I almost threw them both out that night because I couldn't figure out you had to continuously hold down the fast forward button, instead of just pressing it like you do on Comcast), so yeah, I'm not exactly getting anything.

Maybe I'll use that Byte me forum, not sure I've ever been in there before. LOL

I do something similar with my firestick to get around the MSG blackout on YouTubeTV. I have not cancelled any services. I just run a free vpn and have channel repositories on Kodi.

Mazzulla pulled Stevens with three-tenths of a second left to have the taller Kornet guard the inbounds pass. Stevens didn't look thrilled as he returned to the C's bench.

I do think there is something to having an actual, tangible goal in mind rather than the vaguery of "we need to smash these guys"

The writing on the website does not inspire confidence that it's not a scam of some sort, but it sounds great.

Oh man I may get this if just $250 once
Thanks

At a glance, this looks like just hooking up a computer to your tv. You download the decoder apps from the interface they provide.

That's how they get around the piracy issues.

Basically a cheat code for pirating streams. You could do the same thing on your computer but it would take more work.

At least that's what I can gather. I bet you will still get the same unreliable internet streams.

Honestly, never looked at the website or anything before buying it. There was a Black Friday sale going on, so my buddy ordered them through Amazon. If I had looked at the website, I probably would have thought it was a scam too, until I saw it in action.

The internet at my house is really good, so we haven't had any buffering, streaming issues at all. In fact, switching around from say live television to the VOD (video on demand app) apps moves way faster than what we dealt with going from say Netflix to Amazon Prime using the Comcast system.

This is completely derailing the thread but it's an old game thread so I don't think it's that big of a deal....

Is this real?! Like not a scam? Because holy shit, that is a game changer

100% real, and my understanding is they accept returns if you don't like it.

Is he thrilled with the extra $50k he just banked, with the chance for another $50k if they win the opener, $150k if they win the semifinals or $450k as the tourney champ?

Theoretically, the Bulls could have scored, with that bucket the factor in not advancing (If the Nets exploded even more in the fourth against Toronto).

I have a feeling that bench players pouting isn’t going to go over well with this team
