I've never seen an injury report like what Memphis is putting out there. This is going to be a very weird game, with the Cs in a weird spot. If they do anything other than win by 40, it's going to freak people out, and no matter who you are or what you're playing, "blowout or lose" is a sucky spot to be in mentally. It feels no-win. Good test.

Interestingly, Jordan Walsh is with the team tonight, despite Maine having a game. That usually doesn't happen.
Hoping to see a more focused version of the Celtics tonight. At this point it seems clear they are in something of a funk. Dog days of the season, I know, but lately even the wins have felt like grinders.
I know we have plenty of overt and secret Smart haters but for him to say this just underscores why those of us who loved him - and didn't undervalue him because of his offense - did so.
Marcus is a class act and a hell of a competitor.

Were there really Marcus haters? Recognizing that he wasn't a great shooter doesn't mean you couldn't love the effort and D.
I mean, part of the reason they never got one with Marcus was Marcus, but still he deserved one more than anyone.
Absolutely. I can name them but won't. A good tell is if he gets mentioned when discussing the performance of other Celtics. Its fine - people are entitled to their opinions.
