don't turnovers tend to go down league wide as the year goes on?
Yep. I also track averages and it has gone down relative to the average.

Edit: As a note, league average defensive rebounding has been increasing as the season has gone along.
Edit2: Celtics turnovers (on offense) have also dropped more than league average, so their turnover differential has actually improved slightly as the season has gone along.

This game makes perfect sense. The Cs are fatigued because its mid season and they may be playing for another four months.

OTOH, the Wizards are all bitter because these guys are left playing for nothing but pride while other lucky vets got dealt yesterday. If I am Kuz or Poole or Kispert I am in kill mode too.

Celts looking kind of crappy again. Trap game? Too much rest? February blahs? Underestimating opponent?

All downhill since Tatum had like a 3 on 0 and whiffed the layup. It should have been impossible to finish this half down 7. The pace is really affecting them.

I am once again begging the coach to implement an offense that includes setting effective screens to get guys open occasionally.

Spot on: counting on KP’s knack for drawing fowls and getting to the line as the go-to insurance when all else fails.

Smiley-face puking emoji. Completely indifferent defense to finish the half. Hoping they miss. On the other side, lots of just throwing it up at the rim and hoping it goes down. Brutal 3-point shooting. They still probably win, but they sure didn't try very hard in half number one.

No fucking effort on D. None.
Porzingis is the worst for this. That last three he just watched. When he helps and stops a drive he never x's out until the ball goes to th3 shooter, the other 4 guys are covered and he just stands under the hoop. He would get fewer fouls if he wasn;t closing out late so often.

Not sure why the stopped the delayed cut from the top on the post ups, it was working.

Tatum currently 4 for his last 21 from three, after going 15-31 the three games prior. That's sorta the definition of shooting variance.

They got outscored by 24 points from the 3 point line (I think. Espn.com's box score is very wrong), and 13 points in transition. That's a lot.

KP drops way too far under the rim, also puts him in a bad rebounding position when they miss

Cleary what Joe wants because he and Luke do it through out

I get excited whenever Poole gets the ball. Unpredictable outcomes.

Got swiped in the face too. If there is a flaw in Tatum’s game it’s that he hasn’t yet figured out how to get the respect of the refs

Skip pass out of the corner is pretty unusual. Credit for seeing and making it.
