The positive thing is that they could have made a spot for Walker by IRing Easley, but decided not to. So maybe they think he'll be available later on.

Maneri seems like a good fit in the jumbo package where we've been using an additional OL.  He's basically a T/TE tweener: Didn't have the bulk or technique to make it at tackle, has shown off some good blocking ability at TE but offers zero in the passing game.

Yup, this is a guy who caught all of 12 balls his senior year playing at Temple.  He's basically never been a useful receiver at any level of football.  He's a good athlete - massive frame and pretty quick for his size - and that's about it.  He's Rob Gronkowski-lite as a blocker and Dan Gronkowski-lite as a receiver.
