Couldn't have cared who won the first game. But this game, I would love to see Alabama get crushed again in the playoff.

Do ppl think Clemson isn't good because they are ACC? OK was favored, Clem was #1 this season forever for a reason. They have more athletes than maybe any team
I'll admit I thought Clemson would get waxed. ACC, typical Clemson chokers, etc. Good on them for proving us all wrong.

Like Lane Kiffin, I too wouldn't give the Heisman Trophy winner the ball on the first series of the national semifinal game either. What good could that possibly do?

Would have rather seen Iowa here. No idea if it would be a better game but Cook sucks

What an awful throw by Cook to end the half. Part of me wishes I was watching Stave up against this defense. I have no doubt OSU beats Bama if they beat MSU.

MYRTLE BEACH!!!!
Oh baby. I'm a newcomer to Clemson fandom. Started rooting for them in 2000 during the Woody Dantzler era. Suffered through the "Clemsoning," the Tommy Bowden years. Bowden gets fired. This no name Dabo Swinney takes over. And now they're headed to the national championship. Wow.

Our own Paul in Myrtle Beach is at the game. Very jealous.
Yup. I'll update in a bit. Just got off the road to hotel. Like a fucking nascar race.

Another call goes Bamas way

The ball didn't even reach the line judge standing right at the line of scrimmage.

Just settling in. Fun game. For those that haven't been following Clemson, this is what they've done all season. Seemingly control the game, get a decent cushion. Only difference was OU had no fight late.

I thought their best shot was to go tempo offense. Clemson is always late getting lined up on D as Venebles keeps them looking at signals after the O lines up. So once OU couldn't establish speed of game, it was trending our way. Clemson doesn't rotate on D much outside of the linemen, so I figured pace of play would be an issue.

Proud of Hunter. He's a good bud of my sons so real cool to see him do well.

OU fans were a class act. At least the ones we were near at the game.

Checking out title game info now. Son says he's going, so we'll see

So is next week the battle between Saban and the heir apparent to the throne at Alabama (Daboo)?

I don't think Saban leaves and I don't think Dabo would go if he did. Just my opinion. But the salaries are such that moving up isn't what it used to be.
