Couldn't have cared who won the first game. But this game, I would love to see Alabama get crushed again in the playoff.
I'll admit I thought Clemson would get waxed. ACC, typical Clemson chokers, etc. Good on them for proving us all wrong.
Like Lane Kiffin, I too wouldn't give the Heisman Trophy winner the ball on the first series of the national semifinal game either. What good could that possibly do?
I've seen it something like 14 times, and there's still more doubt in my mind as to how that turns out than this game.
Michigan State looks like they took a wrong turn on their way to the Market Basket Just Glad to Be Here Bowl.
Cook doesn't suck. He's not healthy, although that had nothing to do with that horrible pass. And Stave would have 4 picks so far against this defense.

Just settling in. Fun game. For those that haven't been following Clemson, this is what they've done all season. Seemingly control the game, get a decent cushion. Only difference was OU had no fight late.
I thought their best shot was to go tempo offense. Clemson is always late getting lined up on D as Venebles keeps them looking at signals after the O lines up. So once OU couldn't establish speed of game, it was trending our way. Clemson doesn't rotate on D much outside of the linemen, so I figured pace of play would be an issue.
Proud of Hunter. He's a good bud of my sons so real cool to see him do well.
OU fans were a class act. At least the ones we were near at the game.

I don't think Saban leaves and I don't think Dabo would go if he did. Just my opinion. But the salaries are such that moving up isn't what it used to be.
