Hasselbeck is questionable with an illness. I am guessing he will play. I am also guessing the Houston D owns the night tonight

I'm going out on a limb to say that Luck will not play against NE. Seems like there's something fairly concerning going on here.
If it's a subluxation then it's just a matter of how much time is needed for the swelling to subside, right?

There is a report that it's a subluxation, but who knows. And, assuming it is, I have no clue what the timeframe is for recovery. We need some DRS up in here.

AirSign.com has been approached by some loyal Indianapolis Colts fans to help build a campaign that expresses their frustrations over #DeflateGate. They want to send a message in a MASSIVE way.

We will use our 150' Silver Eco Blimp with a gigantic 25x75 banner that will be read.... #DeflateTHIS over the Patriots/Colts game on October 18th, 2015.

This group of fans need your help to make this possible!

Let's have some fun!!!

They better hope Luck is healthy or their going to be flying a blimp over a murder scene

What's Luck got to do with it? Got to do with it?

There's going to be a crime scene unless he can play defensive tackle.

Look at the schedule though.

Bills - McCoy - Injured
Jets - Ivory - he's been pretty good.
Titans - Sankey had 5 rushes.
Jaguars - I'm not even going to comment.

Not exactly the murders row of RBs.

It could be getting late early for the Colts.

They still have v. Pats, @CAR, v. DEN, @ATL and @PIT on their schedule.

If they lose tonight, they'll be 2-3.  Assuming none of the games above are winnable, that would leave them with 8 losses.  So to even go 8-8 they've have to run the table on their remaining games.

If Houston wins, they'll be 2-3 with the Bills, Pats, Bengals and Jets as their toughest remaining games.  They otherwise play the same lousy teams the Colts do (their division, plus Miami and NO).

Why would you assume none of those games are winnable, though? Atlanta and Carolina certainly appear to be paper tigers.

I'm pretty comfortable that Indy can't hang with either of those teams, but I guess we'll see.

I'm standing on that, "The Panthers Aren't That Good," wall. My best guess is that the Falcons take care of them at home.

(1)  That's a big win for the Colts, beating the team that's likely the second-best team in their division on the road.

(2)  I hadn't fully appreciated the suckage of the Texans when I wrote my earlier post.  At this point, barring a stupid loss or three, the Colts should win the division.

(3)  I expect that the Colts are going to play possum regarding Luck's availability until about 8 Eastern next Sunday.  I think they'd be crazy to start him, but we'll see.

So now the Colts get nine days to rest and prepare to play the Parriots at home. If they can't win in this situation I don't know if they will ever beat Belichick and Brady again.

I wonder if they will pump in crowd noise again.

I find it a little weird that you're dubious of Carolina's early success but you're sold on Atlanta after four games.

God that division sucks.  Indy is so lucky to be in a division like that and get basically 5-6 guaranteed wins every year just by showing up.

Bring on next Sunday night.

I don't think the Panthers are as good this year as they were last when they snuck into the playoffs with a losing record. I stipulate they have an easy schedule but beating bad teams doesn't make that team "good".

My guess that Atlanta could beat an obviously flawed Colts team in a notoriously difficult place for the visitors to play can only very loosely be described as, "sold".

I never want to hear anything about the AFC east being soft again. God the AFC south sucks.

I think the AFC East gets underrated because aside from the Pats there isn't a team like the Steelers, Ravens, Cowboys, or Giants that gets credit for being pretty good even when they're average.  The Ravens and Steelers have both had a bunch of 8-8/9-7 seasons but those teams are regarded as good tough always dangerous teams when they go 8-8 while the Dolphins or Jets are viewed as overachievers when they put up the same record.

Is this why Coach Pagano is "supremely confident" about the game? (His words)

It's no lose for ESPN and the like. Colts win or keep it really competitive -- that's their wet dream. Colts get blown out -- then BB and the Pats are picking on cancer survivors.

Tennessee is the only team in the division with a positive point differential... by virtue of blowing out Tampa.

There seems to be a lot of bad football being played this year, and though I can't prove it, the rain of yellow laundry could be contributing to it. Getting into any kind of rhythm seems impossible in many of these games.

But if game quality were job 1, we would not be seeing NFL football on Thursdays save for Thanksgiving.
