Two nice plays off this. Came all the way across to cut off a dangerous run, then a tricky bending cross to get a corner.teddykgb said:

They're not useless with the right package around them, but the US doesn't really have that package, though they were able to generate some chances off his play in the latter part of the half. Altidore will never be what people thought he could be when he was 20, but hes still the best option, especially in this type of game.Cellar-Door said:

Why cant AJ get some run or as CD said move up Zardes.
I will say each time I see Zardes play he has impressed. Smart touches. Some good passing. Has been mostly tracking back on D. Still young.

Chandler was a real mixed bag tonight. He made some nice runs, and had some nice plays defensively, but he also had some terrible passes and other mistakes at the back.

Brad Evans most definitely does not look like the answer at RB. He's been on 5 minutes already burned once, then dropped off scared of the speed and let a free pass into the 6.
