This would be an absolutely breathtaking leaderboard if Spieth wasn't just crushing the field.

Yeah, but there's two days left, plenty of time for him to come back to the pack. Even if he went like 2+ today, tomorrow is a whole other ballgame.

As much as I would love to see Jordan win a green jacket, I would love to see 5-6 players in contention Sunday.

I'm in a Masters pool in which everyone picks 5 golfers, and the standings are based on earnings for the tournament.  I do it for every major, $50 a guy, and about 30 guys from our club in it, winner take all.  I never win, so I had forgotten about my picks that I sent in last week.  Just took a look at them and I have:

Spieth
Mickelson
D. Johnson
Rory
Bubba

I might actually have a shot at this fucking thing.  I can see a bunch of other guys picks and most have 2-4 of the same guys, but nobody has all 5, and the ones that have 4 are swapping out Mickelson for Day and stuff like that.  Could be a cool finish on that front.

Rory for eagle.  Nope.  Tap in birdie.

Just tuned in. Good to see Tiger scoring out there. Is he swinging well?

Yes. Birdies on 3 of first 4. Next 3 holes he had what they termed "makeable" putts for birdies--within 15 feet or so.

I probably would've 7-putted, at best, from where Spieth and Hoffman just were. Thought for sure one of them would 3-putt.

Hoffman's been keeping it together today; couple times his wheels could have started to wobble but he ground out a par. How long can he hold out though?

Rory's back 9 yesterday and front 9 today was a 63. Crazy. 40 going out yesterday is a killer.
He's 10 under in his last 22 holes. What a turnaround.

Haha you beat me to it Zomp. That's what it looks like when I swing too hard with my driver. A gross duck hook.

We bitch about the Augusta National TV crap every year, but at least when they get around to showing the tournament they do so with minimal commercial interruption.

Damn Tiger, drops it 10ft from the pin on 13 from 100-150 yds.
He was actually 175 out. That's the difference with these guys, I'd be making 8 after that tee shot, he's got a makeable birdie putt.

Clearly that's the only difference.

Oh boy, Tiger makes birdie after that drive, and we get the fist pump.  Awesome fucking stuff.  Man, did I miss me some Tiger.

There's an indisputable postulate about him: When he takes forever to patiently study a shot -- like this one, or the miracle chip at 16 in '05 -- he's going to make it.

What a beast. Fighter pilots wish they had the mental fortitude of Tiger.

If Spieth makes any sort of mistake, there are going to be a few guys there to pounce.  This ain't over yet.  Some of these guys may play even better when they feel like they have nothing to lose.

Only an 8? I need some lessons from you.

And ya after I wrote 150 I went rewound the DVR and saw it was much further. Great hearing them talking about needing to "smash" given the distance.

Holy shit.  I thought Spieth made that.  Nobody putting better than him in the world right now, especially over 15 feet.
