This was truly beautiful. Kudos Derek. My ignorance only strengthens the joke. I had no idea, obviously, that Michigan was ranked at 4. Whatever you want to say about that program, the marketing is top notch. Big win today at home against Colorado. Wouldn't surprise me to see Big Blue jump to #3.
In each of Bama's first three games, the play in the trenches on both sides of the ball has resembled the rugby scene from Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. If they play a team who can hold their own on the line, then yes, the Tide's weakness at the skill positions can be exploited. Until then, however, it's going to be ugly -- remember, the officials basically gave Ole Miss 7 points in the first half by ignoring that cheap shot on Hurts, and without that TD, this game is a laugher in the second half.At some point having a freshman QB has to hurt Alabama.......doesn't it???
So Furman walks away with the FCS championship then?I think MSU looks really good
OU looks plenty talented on the offensive side, but prone to stupid mistakes and "choking." Dropped passes, taking stupid sacks outside the pocket, missed easy field goals, etc. They've left 7-10 points out there.Gooners look pretty mediocre.
Edit - which isn't to say the Brutus doesn't look pretty good, because they do.
Just an unreal play. I had never seen a receiver catch the ball against a corner like that live until tonight.Spectacular catch by Noah Brown.
At the rate it's going now, 55 ain't gonna do it.I was wrong earlier; Texas will need to score 55 to win. This defense is outright awful.
Alabama had a 45-6 stretch in 27 minutes today, also on the road, and Louisville has made a nice case for themselves so far also. OSU has been super impressive tonight though, obv.Hate to say it but OSU is the clear early #1 team in the country
I said this on FB, and my brother pointed me to this one:Just an unreal play. I had never seen a receiver catch the ball against a corner like that live until tonight.
