Jets fall to Steelers to go 1-4. From TGG charting NY's 2nd half scoring:
- Week 1 - Jets 6 points (opponent 10)
- Week 2 - Jets 17 points (opponent 21)
- Week 3 - Jets 0 points (opponent 7)
- Week 4 - Jets 7 points (opponent 13)
- Week 5 - Jets 0 points (opponent 14)
Two things jump out:
- Jets have scored more than 7 points in the second half once in 5 weeks
- Jets have failed to outscore their opponents in the second half in every game
Their secondary is now officially a mess with Revis' injury/age and Gilchrist forced to roles he's not great at. Add Decker's injury and the usual ups & downs of Fitzy and they're realistically looking at 1-6:
Oh, Bowles also getting skewered over punting the ball on a 4th down before game got away. Mangold also hurt during the game.
