Nice "conjecture" by Rap, as PFT gently puts it. Multiple sources with direct knowledge "scoffed" at the idea. Separately, a reporter in Ft Worth says Cowboys have not been contacted about the idea. One might think there is news to be gleaned at the Combine beyond this sort of thing.

He has a career yards/reception number near DeSean Jackson and was the Man deep threat for the Ravens for about three years. Just 28. What happened, the 49ers?
He's no Desean Jackson. He's closer to Mike Wallace. Very fast, very shitty route runner.

Bills only tendered Gillislee at the 5th round level. Would be a good fit to replace Blount I think. Also plays special teams. So even if he's not seen as a starter could be a Bolden replacement.

It's gonna be hilarious when the Pats sign Gillislee and Woods to go with Hogan and they all have great years.

Would not be happy to see Pryor on Steelers. Think someone will be getting breakout star.

Steelers probably don't have the cap space, and if they do, he'll be the only guy they sign. If they want to go top heavy on offense with no depth or defense, I'm not terribly scared. Seems a lot like the Grigson approach.

The Steelers would be foolish to commit big money at WR for a second player after spending a ridiculous amount on AB.

DJ Fluker released
Think he makes sense as a swing tackle type that can back up at guard, too, or will he be too expensive?

AFAIK, he's played mostly on the right side of the line. If he works on the left, maybe he could be a Thuney upgrade?

When a team with a terrible offensive line releases a guy, he's not typically an option for replacing a promising rookie.

Especially a rookie who played 99.64% of the snaps in his rookie year.
He wasn't worth 8MM, but it also doesn't mean he isn't an upgrade. I think the Patriots OL could stand to get better and Thuney and Andrews seemed to me as the weaker pieces.

Makes sense. He wasn't giving up his Showtime gig on Inside the NFL and this is the only other team with an easy commute to his main job.
As Red commented on my earlier post about Marshall potentially signing there, the Giants practice on Tuesdays when they film the show. So, some arrangement will have to be made for him to continue doing it.

I'm guessing they'll work it out. He's preparing for his next life in the media which is perfectly fine. No issues there as long as the organization is good with it.

The floor for a contract has to be what the Jets paid Fitz this year, which was what, like $13M, and I would imagine that Romo will want significant more than that - closer to $20M
If he ends up in Denver I think he will have a contract similar to Manning's last contract. Maybe a salary around 12-13 million with a chance of making 4-5 million more with incentives.

IIRC Denver's O-line sucked last year. Does Romo, a guy who's a hit away from retirement, really want to go there?
The other, related, question is does Denver, because of their holes at O-line and elsewhere, want to devote significant money to an old, injury-prone QB? Every dollar they spend on QB is a dollar they can't spend on, say, a LT, which they desperately need.

An argument can be made that they're better off keeping Siemian and spending their cap space on upgrading the rest of the roster, especially with several new starters on the O-line.

Besides, if the Patriots keep JG there could be another old quarterback available in a year or two
