Wow. Somehow the half-tanking, half-playing like sh*t Nuggets threaded the finest of needles and got the three best teams in the West — GS, HOU, UTA — on the other side of the bracket. It took (1) them coming back from down 11 to the Wolves with 3 minutes left AND (2) the Kangz blowing a 28-point lead to the Blazers third-stringers to make it happen. Plus a whole ton of other crazy crap, like Houston blowing a 14 point lead with 9 minutes left yesterday, a Mo Harkless buzzer beater v. LA yesterday, etc.
Meanwhile, Houston, who looked like they were locked into the #2 seed not 45 minutes ago, end up slipping to #4, setting up a tough first round tilt v. Utah and (likely) an even tougher second-rounder v. the Warriors.
Put another way: one of DEN, OKC, SAS or POR is going to the Western Conference Finals.
