Five tries at the end zone and he could not put a single ball in play.
Yeah, the passes were horrible. Throw the ball so they have a chance to catch it in bounds. Wow. Philly tried to blow it with the penalty but Atlanta wasn't interested in success.

In Ryan’s defense; he didn’t have a lot of time to throw on that final drive.

Not nearly enough was made of Shanny leaving after 2016. Atlanta’s O and Matty haven’t been close to the same since.

It's gonna bug me for a long time that we made Nick Foles look like Aaron Rodgers in the Super Bowl. At least Eli has had a pretty good career.

Oh, I think plenty was made of this, both in Atlanta and nationally (in appropriate proportions). Sark has about half of this season to start making the offense look right, or he ought to be fired midseason...that said, Ryan has a track record of sucking in his first year under a new OC before breaking out in year two, and that includes his time with Shanahan, who many Falcons fans wanted to be fired after his first year as well. So I'm willing to cut Sark *some* slack. But the Falcons can't waste all of these weapons again this year...they just can't.

Falcons in red zone:
15 plays
11 yards
8 incompletions
The last drive was particularly jarring. Ryan literally never gave his team a chance to make a play in the end zone. But I really don't know what they can do. They have zero ability to run inside the 10 yard line and simply can't get the ball to an athletic freak in Julio. Over his last 25 games, Julio has 5 TDs. Chris Hogan matched that in Weeks 2-5 last year. Julio has only had double digit TDs once...back in 2012! I just don't get it.

The Vikings are really good. I didn't expect the Niners to necessarily win, but I underestimated the Vikings potential with Cousins. They're stacked all around. The defense is scary as expected.

Also, how the F is Frank Gore still playing. That’s incredible.
He's always been such a great 5-10 yard back. He's never really been a home run threat, but he's incredible at getting positive yards. A definite HOF player.

Wow. Alfred Morris fumbles back to back at the goalline. Recovered the first, lost the second. Unreal.

NO is getting murdered right now. They will probably still win but this is hilarious.

Jameis is the problem, I guess.

Really pissed at myself for taking New Orleans instead of Baltimore in my survivor pool — the Bills’ suckitude was obvious, and it’s not surprising that the loss of Winston has been addition by subtraction for the Bucs.

You simply cannot hit a QB, hold him, and then crush him into the ground. It's going to get called everytime. I've seen three calls already today, taking away sacks. The teams will learn. Just hit the QB and then drop him to the ground, don't crush.
