I mean, maybe, maybe not. The Bengals today will obviously be a different team in 2-3 years.
Exactly. Teams are bad until they’re good. I for one did not have the GSWarriors becoming a top 3 all time team 10 years ago.

Burrow’s value will be so high after this you have to really evaluate trading down for a haul of picks. Someone will overpay.
So hard to trade the pick. I just think about what it would take for me to trade Darnold if I was the Jets GM and it would be a lot. QBs are just too hard to find and because they are protected their careers can be really long.

Oh, sure, and maybe he's the guy to lead the turnaround. It's just that the Bengals have had an air of institutional ineptitude hanging over them since my first marriage. Which ended in divorce in 1992.
Bengals made the playoffs a bunch of times over the past decade. They were pretty solid, but couldn't ever win a playoff game. But the Bengals aren't the Browns.

Of all the 3 outcomes - LSU ball is the most wrong.
Knee is down

even if knee isnt down - ball crossed goal line and then is stripped.

While the refs no longer have a bearing on this game, more crappy calls

One of the great mysteries of college football is why coaches never realize that their kickers generally stink from outside 40 yards.

I can’t believe clemson is losing a key guy bc his helmet either didn’t fit or was not strapped on. I’ve never seen a helmet come off so easily
