Really disappointing result for a top seed but Denver deserved it. They carried the play all night with BC on their heels and making mistakes. BC looked like an overconfident side that couldn't make adjustments.

I think this is right. Davis was fantastic in goal but BC had a number of good chances and the puck just couldn’t find the net.

And Boston College was literally on the ropes in the regional final against the defending national champions and could have easily not reached the Frozen Four. It goes both ways.

Great news for BC fans. Ryan Leonard is returning to The Heights for his sophomore season.
