These quarter screen interviews put me in more of a rage than almost anything. I would love to fight whoever thinks this is a good idea. Get this shit off my screen. Fucking guy is wearing a mask, why do I need to see his eyes???? Fuck I despise network production people, just show the fucking game and shut up. I’m going to go take some edibles or Valium to calm down.
Ha. I was thinking almost the same thing. This one was ridiculously long for the banal content.
Not sure if it helps but I found it annoying as well. If I was an Orlando fan I may have been more into it.
If Carsen Edwards was good at shooting, he might be useful as a deep bench guy. But he's not even good at that.
I'm not sure deserve has anything to do with it. PP makes other guys better on offense, if he sits the whole group gets worse. No Romeo and the Celtics won't miss a beat (on offense at least).
welp, another enjoyable game. Cardiacs Sr. called me to see if I was watching the pats but to be honest could care less about that; this is summer bliss for a celtics fan.
I'd like to see Pritchard navigate screens a bit better, but he's done everything you could really hope for on offense. Celts have a very high team assist rate and a lot of that is Pritchard being able to run the offense.
Begarin has been pretty good about moving the ball as well. The kid has a feel for offense even if the shot is inconsistent.

Fernando is an impressive presence but when watching him actually play basketball I wonder if he has a place in the NBA.
Nesmith, on the other hand. His stock is rising and hope we can capitalize. I'd love to see him be a useful cog next season.

Yep. I’ll take a baby Cs summer league game over a Pats preseason game all day. Watching PP and Nesmith light it up is a true joy.
Last time I watched summer league was a couple of years ago, but it's like night and day in terms of how they play like a team now. Last time I watched it was a raggedy mess. I know that's partly a function of the players themselves who happen to be out there, but I wonder how much too is a stronger message from the coaching staff after Ime's comments on the Celtics' low assist rate last season.
And without the pressure on the ball, without ability to run the 2nd unit offence, get the ball to stars

I think if he's playing like this he'll get open shots no matter where he's coming in. Really excited to see what he does this year. He'll have to earn his minutes because there's so many veterans on this team... but he is certainly looking like he might.
In my defense I said this in one of the offseason threads a week or two ago.
