Yup. Pretty fun. West as wide open as the AFC East with LA Lakers looking mortal.Amazing that no one in the West has won 3 games yet, UTH up 2-1 and the other three series all 2-2.
I doubt the Warriors trade Wiggins straight up for Porzingis, let alone throw in Wiseman. Porzingis rolls out of bed and misses more games than Wiggs has in his seven-year NBA career; plus they’re at opposite defensive versatility spectrum. And Wiggs shot better than the Zinger from 3 this season, to boot. It's crazy that the Knicks may have one the Zinger trade.
HRB, doesn't GSW say no to that, thinking they could get a more useful player elsewhere for Wiseman?
Just because I am never correct about anythingI wouldnt be the slightest bit surprised to see LAC win the next two and even this series.
Good work thereJust because I am never correct about anything
No NBA team has blown a 3-0 series lead and only 3 have had to go to Game 7 to finally win one. None of those 3 teams was the Sixers. So, yeah, what the heck are they talking about?Pulling into driveway after Dunkies trip have the Wizards radio feed on.
Color guy: “Philly is going to approach tonight as a Game 7 because they’ve been there before.”
Play-by-Play guy: “I agree that the Sixers will come out like it’s a Game 7 as they have had playoff failures in the past.”
WTF am I listening to? Now I think Philly is an awful matchup for the Wizards and expect it to be a 2H rout but approaching it as a G7 bc they’ve been there before?
They were also stressing the importance of scoring first to “get off to a good start.” I’m not sure if the Sixers could overcome the daunted 2-0 deficit. No NBA team has blown a 3-0 series lead and only 3 have had to go to Game 7 to finally win one. "For those reasons, I'm out." ~ Mark CubanZero young talent on this roster besides Luka and no real flexibility because of the Zinger contract.
This Celtics fan is glad it moved our terrible fan off the news cycle. Some guy runs on the floor in the middle of the Wizards/Sixers game. People can’t handle themselves post-COVID.

They'll have a good amount of cap space this summer (more if Richardson opts out), they can make some moves.I’d really like to know what Dallas’ plan to surround Luka with more talent is. Zero young talent on this roster besides Luka and no real flexibility because of the Zinger contract. Cuban has a real problem on his hands.
Umm GS? And Quickly. Why are they giving up Wiseman who is an actual asset to swap Wiggins for Porzingis when they're similar players and Wiggins has a better contract.Porzingis still has trade value to the right team. He’d be a perfect fit in Golden State with Klay returning.
Porzingis and filler to GSt for Wiseman and Wiggins. Who says no?
Looks like that security guard went for a double leg take down and went into mount position. Quality,
When was the last time you saw Hack-a-(fill in the blank) and the person being constantly fouled on purpose was a backcourt player? Simmons was 5-11 from the line. The sixers had a possession late, i think around the 1:40 mark that was one of the worst ive ever seen. And im a clipps fan. The game was still there for them to close out.
That is absolutely bonkers. I didn't pay much attention to the NBA over the last decade or so; I know the names (like Westbrook) but just hadn't seen many of the current stars play much. His game last night was so incredibly odd. My buddy called him an incredible athlete with insane competitive drive, but maybe not the best basketball IQ. I can get that when you see how he just ignores what's going on and forces up terrible shots on the regular... but I feel like for someone to average a triple-double multiple times, for someone that small to gobble up so many boards... he must actually have a pretty high basketball IQ... regardless, he sure is a unique player. He finished 3-19, 19 points, 21 boards, 14 assists, 42 minutes. That has to be the best 3-19 ever.
Philly had some success without Embiid this season. They may try to win Game 5 without him. Dwight Howard needs to play 30 minutes if Embiid sits.
I mean, they were 10-11 without him. That counts as some success but not much. It should be enough to get past the Wizards with a 3-1 edge, though. I don't know if Philly has enough to get past the Hawks/Knicks without him, let alone the Bucks/Nets, so resting him now would be a good plan.Philly had some success without Embiid this season. Hey, it’s the 76ers. Always with the drama, even in the first round.
They went 7-3 during his last major injury lay-off of the season. Wiz dominated inside after Embiid went out last night. But Doc can fix that. Home court, refs should be intimidated, tough game to lose but the 76ers will make it interesting.I mean, they were 10-11 without him. That counts as some success but not much. The earlier games don't count? Only three of those seven wins were against playoff teams, one of which was against the Lakers who were missing both Lebron and AD. The other two wins were against the Knicks, so if they face the Knicks without Embiid they'd be in decent shape I guess. They went 7-3 during his last major injury lay-off of the season. I think they can even with Embiid. They are last years Miami Heat in so many ways.Imagine if the Hawks made the ECF?
I agree with you, mostly. We can parse wins and losses forever in a Covid season. The playoffs are the first point where everyone who can play is playing. The earlier games don't count? Hawks vs Sixers (without Embiid but with home court) would be a pick'em. That's pretty flattering, not too many teams missing their best player (on both ends of the court) should be favored in the 2nd round of the playoffs. The push all year to get that #1 seed should pay off big.
*edit - calling Embiid the Sixers' best player is understating it. If he'd played 65 games this year he'd be the MVP favorite. It really shouldn't be a problem getting through the Wizards without him, but any further becomes difficult.
Keep going...Imagine if the Hawks made the ECF?
...I'm almost there...I think they can even with Embiid. They are last years Miami Heat in so many ways.
Skip Bayless says this is the biggest game of LeBron’s career.Tonight is a LeBron statement game. This should be a good one.
A win in a dominant performance and it’s another feather in his cap for sure.Skip Bayless says this is the biggest game of LeBron’s career.
Ordered a Booker Valley jersey earlier today. Feeling good about the purchaseBooker is really fun to watch
He really is. Besides being an amazing talent, he also plays hard and doesn’t whine a lot.Booker is really fun to watch

Denver came out really hot making a bunch of threes and then came back to earth.I haven't been watching POR-DEN, but how did Denver blow such a massive early lead?
I mean... yes the drop from a top 8 player in the league to a guy who got bought out because he's trash is indeed quite bigMan, the drop off from Davis to Drummond et al. is noticeable
Davis to Markieff really. I’m not complaining with my Suns series bet mind you.Man, the drop off from Davis to Drummond et al. is noticeable
