Game is being played at a pace Kornet just can’t contribute to. He’s been the biggest worry for me in these games he looks really out of place and not like he can play any real minutes. Hopefully just getting up to speed and out of place in such disjointed games

Sixers are an odd mix of really old (Green, Tucker, Beverley, Harden) and young and athletic (Maxey, Melton, Springer, Reed), with guys like Embiid and Harris somewhere in the middle.

Mazzulla's substitution patterns make me think Walsh isn't anywhere close to the rotation.

He shouldn't be. It feels like he's playing fast but unfocused. Maine'll do him good.

Queta, otoh, feels closer to being in the rotation. If he could just not foul...

He’s 26 now, has been around the block, shown a bit of quality here and there. Sometimes this type of player just needs a bit of time in the league and the right opportunity. He shoots with confidence. Joe Harris popped at 25-26 for example.

I’m really into the idea of being able to throw some bench lineups out there with 3-4 snipers running off screens and making the defense chase guys around and work a bit. It’s not like our bench lineups have been much to write home about when Tatum leaves the floor. Let’s seem some KP + snipers lineups and give the D some things to think about. Of course I’m sure we’ll ultimately see lineups with JB running the show and it will be as it has been…fine but underwhelming. Just looking for some status quo shift.

I was just thinking the same thing as someone at the trade deadline was saying Mo Bamba was garbage and I could actually -see- him biting on multiple pick and rolls into being way out of position.

We kicked Bamba around as a depth option at the 5 at the beginning of last season. Bamba's size is interesting but he's a negative every time he hits the floor. Not a "Brad guy".

I LOVE that fast backdown by Tatum off a miss. Had the mismatch, didn’t waste time, didn’t mess around, just bullied his man and got to the rim.

The whole starting lineup can take their time and shoot 3's.

Just fucking weapons all over the court. They should run whenever they can, but in the halfcourt, patience is a virtue because they can get a knockdown shooter a look on every possession.

So much happier that the wide open threes Tatum and Brown generate are going to Derrick White, Kristaps Porzingis, and Jrue Holiday instead of Marcus Smart.
