Little known fact about Brantley - he actually participated in the Continental Congress before turning to typesetting and then to professional baseball.

So, with Garcia’s grand slam last night, the Rangers became only the second team to have hit more than one grand slam in the ALCS in the team’s history. Nelson Cruz hit Texas’ other one In 2012. Four other teams have hit one.

One team has 8.

(Sorry if someone beat me to it yesterday.)

Astros have had a few at 'em balls.

I suppose after the fact...3.2 and 2R from Scherzer is ok. 8 outs and they're leading.

I'm going to guess the team with 8 isn't the Rays.

There is no way he should've been suspended in the 1st place. The league fucked that situation up completely.
That part aside, it shouldnt be that hard for appeals to be heard within a few hours during the playoffs.

The only "fair" appeal outcome based on the rules was to cut the suspension in half. Which is game 7 of the ALCS.

Again, there is no way Abreu was throwing at a guy in that situation, and it was his 1st pitch out of the stretch. The umps were fucking cowards for booting him from the game, and MLB fucked up by levying a 2-game suspension. (and I say all this as someone that REALLY wants HOU to lose tonight and pretty much every other night).

Yea, he shouldn't have been tossed in the first place. Garcia, dumbass that he is, probably should have been for losing his head and causing the benches to empty.
