Ugh. Flemming and Bradford on the radio. (Cant watch where I am rn). I dont mind Bradford in ST, but he brings out the worst in Flemming.

I've probably seen less than one in ten outs on the pitcher covering home on a WP/PB.

Duran with a nice grab in LF.
I wonder if the Phillies will have Noah Song throw an inning to rub it in that they have him and we don't (for now at least.)

Duran's arm is, uh, not Bradleyesque.
Throwing is an enduring mystery. How can a guy as absolutely jacked as Duran not throw well?

Bradley is clearly an athletic guy, but he's not someone you'd look twice at if you walked past him in the airport. Duran is like 6'1" of solid muscle. And yet.

It's funny, isn't it?

I love an outfield assist, though, and despair every time I see Duran scoop a ball off the outfield turf.

feels like Mata in the bullpen this year is not an if but a when
I'm torn. He seems like he could be a legitimate bullpen weapon, but he has a starter's stuff, a starter's repertoire, a starter's build... We have some SP openings next season; maybe we want him starting in AAA?

Why not the bullpen for September but starting in AAA all season then pencil him in for ML starting in '24? (of course assuming he's dominant in AAA)

Sox up 1-0. Knock Sonny Gray out of the box in the 1st. (not really; sounds like a pitch limit).

Paxton gets Correa & Vaz in the 1st inning. Seems like a good sample to overreact regarding.

I'm following on gameday, did Gordon hurt himself or are the twins just subbing out anyone who makes an error today?

Cy Paxton with an easy 1-2-3 first. 1 K.

EDIT: EEI-AM on alexa seems to be a few minutes behind. Or Joe Castig has really slowed down.

Who had the under on 2IP. Paxton removed after 5 outs...Cora and the trainer out to get him as he flexes his leg.
