Couldn’t tell if the injury was when some pointed out that calf “pop” or a few steps later when his ankle twisted awkwardly as he went down.

If it’s the later twist as he’s falling, looked like high ankle sprain or maybe even lisfranc.

If it’s the earlier “pop” then yeah Achilles in play and adios Aaron.

Seems ominous … and I’m no expert but a simple Achilles test is pretty easy to do (calf squeeze). I assume further tests are to confirm the Achilles tear
