Mullins - Rutschman - Santander - Gunnar (later on) - Hays - Holliday is going to make a lot of pitchers look pretty pedestrian this year.

Not that your point is wrong, but I also wouldn't read too much into this outing, as long as he makes it through healthy I will be pretty happy.

I think the thing to know is that he plays for Ramon Vazquez’ PRWL Caguas team in the offseason, so the Sox coaching staff knew him real well before they brought him in on a minor league FA deal.

Yes! The first one was good, too. Burnes threw a nasty front-door cutter to freeze him on a full count. That tells us more about Burnes than Rafaela IMO.
