Red Sox up 2-0 in Atlanta. Looks like many of the players from yesterday headed there too. Connor Wong doubled home a run. Bello is pitching.

Miami (oh, Miami!)
I'm enjoying them. I thought Reyes yesterday was great, and I learned some things from the Giolito one.
I had meant more the fact that they can't just even tell you who is at bat or what just happened in the game. Play by play is obviously out, but if someone gets a hit. . .mention it and move on with your "best shape of your life" and "are not a social misanthrope vis-a-vis your clubmates" stuff.

I agree, and a lot of that could be solved with the simple addition of the name of the player at bat as part of the score bug or whatever you call it.

Yeah I don't disagree there. I thought hearing Giolito say that the support staff has all the information they could need at their fingertips, but that they are not shoving one approach down anyone's throat, was kind of cool. Kind of echoed what Bailey said yesterday in that things are being tailored to each individual pitcher. There was fluff, too, but it's nice to see there's a solid structure to the program.

I don't think it could actually cost much, but I very much mind this, as other teams easily manage to tell us both pitcher and batter.
I don't know if they are still around, but we had members here who could provide numerous examples of NESN penny pinching. One of my favorites was the software they used for the virtual studio for NESN news updates. They used the raw template design right out of the box with zero customization.

Love to hear this. After all the confusion and negativity from last year, to have a staff that's positive, engaged and proactive is fantastic.

How'd Murphy look? I'm bullish on him as a starter if he can dial in a third pitch. Fun fact: he threw only 55 changeups last year but didn't give up a single hit on any of them.

BTW - this is really what I want to see in ST. ML starters and key prospects getting live at bats. Hit the season running. Rack up some early wins.

Last year it seemed like Cora wanted to get 5ABs for Aquaman and Talapia in every game.

Well, he had to see if they’d make the team. This year that guy is Ceddanne.
