2024 SOSH Mock Draft?

So this came up in one of the other threads, and I figure we should give it it's own thread in the correct subforum....

Is there interest in a SOSH member mock draft as a way to kill some time and a fun framework for looking at prospects?

How I would think it would work would be the following....
1. We see how many people are interested, and make a list.
2. We use a random generator to assign teams to those posters.
3. We draft, using a certain timeframe (say 2 hours with the clock stopping between maybe 12-8 Eastern?) in this thread.

Not sure how deep people want to go (3 rounds, the full 7?)

I would suggest that once a poster makes his/her pick that they send a PM to the poster with the next pick in an attempt to move things along. That is what we did when we did this kind of exercise in the past.

Is this really a good idea? What if Nip gets taken in the second round? Will he be offended and close us down? If KFP goes ahead of Rev we'll never hear the end of it I imagine.

It would certainly be a very hard decision for "Mr. Irrelevant", that's for sure.

looks like it limits it to 10 people I'd still be interested if people want to do it though

We could do both? Though I don't sense a big groundswell of interest, like everyone is willing to wait for someone else to get it going.

What if we picked a time next week - Monday night? - to give the PFN a run with 10 people?

So I tested the PFN one late last week - you can't multi-select teams. So, 22 teams would be auto-selected by the sim.

You can select "All" in a slider at the top.

Just as easy to do it here though, especially if we don't have 32 people interested.
