Our 4th quarter offense sucks. Move the fucking ball. Stop letting Tatum dribble it into the earth on every other possession.
How about the possession where Jaylen refused to pass the ball and almost committed a shot-clock violation before putting up a prayer that was never going to be answered?
It would have been easier to take had the C's come out flat from the jump. Build a 30-point lead, you should win.
That's what makes me nervous about the playoffs. How many times do the C's have to see their late-game offense bog down before they try something different?
I like to think missing 17 out of the last 18 3-point shots was more to blame.
You know how this goes. For each of the C's many, many defeats this season we have to have a serious discussion about what we learned about the weakness of this team. It turns out if you play the end of your schedule on a long road trip while missing key ballhandlers/playmakers/release valves, you might lose.
The Hawks announcers are very happy about winning it. Seems like they think the Hawks starters should win medals of valor
All the ‘the Hawks can’t be counted out!’ thinkpieces we will get before round one will cite this games. I’m already annoyed by it.
The fact that Joe would have to call a timeout to keep Jaylen, an NBA All-Star, from fucking up in that situation is what worries me.
Blowing a 30 point lead against a shitty team means something.
On the other hand, would not have happened if White was playing.
I’m not exactly sure what happened there. Just Tatum iso after Tatum iso, but mostly a lack of defensive stops. Just a gross second half. Oh well.

Yeah, he needs to be cautious about that. I didn't think tonight was all that egregious in terms of him not getting the whistle and it definitely seemed to distact him at times. He does get too few calls--and he probably will not do better until he learns to limit his complaining a bit more.
This is an absolutely wild thought, but it’s possible they didn’t have much practice running late game halfcourt offense without their two starting guards.
Good chance to re-motivate. Can't be complacent, this is a good one to point to internally, ultimately. Frustrating in the moment but I think good for the team in the long term.
Jaylen had his share of isos, too. The offense in the final two minutes was brutal.
I hate to say it, but in a league with a lot of complainers, Tatum has become one of the worst.
He flails and whines after nearly every drive at this point, regardless of what happened on the play. Someone needs to reign him in a bit.
