Is there a reason why NESN got rid of the strike box? I don’t have strong thoughts one way or the other on that but seems weird they got rid of it since they had it for so long.

Might be my imagination - and I’ve not gone back to look - but both today and yesterday, Casas seemed to catch the third out of an inning at first then leap forward, eyeing a runner as if not realizing how many outs there were. Better to err thinking there are fewer outs than to err the other way, but it’s a little odd.

Yep, he definitely did that at least once in the first game.

He’s getting squeezed, but he’s been so erratic with fastball location that he’s not exactly earning the strikes.

I hate not having it.
