Pretty unreal how fucking annoying this team is and always has been despite never winning anything.
The Rays will not lose a single game this season. They will be the first team to ever go 162-0. Not a chance they lose even one.
If Raffy had even grounded out it wouldn't feel so bad. Staring at a fucking absolute meatball with two strikes is just awful there.

Until just then he'd pitched five scoreless innings on the season. He made one mistake, and of course, it was hit for a homer. Dude last inning made a mistake to Devers (92 mph fastball, knee high, inner third - right in Devers' wheelhouse) and Devers missed it.
At this point it's too late. It'd be like the Aztecs doing it after Cortez showed up.
An out is an out. If he allows 1 run every six innings he pitches, with hardly any strikeouts, I'll happily take that over the course of a season.
Sure. Maybe not missing any bats will continue in scoreless outings, just like tonight.

It takes years for it to come to fruition, unfortunately, but Chaim has basically drafted all upside hitters and college pitchers lately with the goal of not having to spend so much freaking money on shaky relievers year after year while the competition is putting their scouting to work.
