Sox spent more time getting off the field after the third out than they spent making three outs in the bottom half of the inning.

Guards broadcast: They're saying they can't hear each other out there today. After the collision and before Cleveland took the field, their outfielders huddled and emphasized to Florial that he needs to yell at the top of his lungs to call them off.

Hard to blame the bullpen/pitching when we score no runs. Pitching has been way better than expected this year but offense is bad

I have no idea where to find this stat, but I'd be shocked if we aren't leading MLB in most runs given up with two outs.
This season, entering today, 26 RBI allowed with two outs. Tied with the Phillies and Reds for 12th most. I know that’s imperfect since not every run scored has an RBI but I figure close enough.

My prayer is that O'Neill got a superficial cut from his glasses, and that Devers stayed on the ground for a long time because he likes to lie on the ground for a long time. Relieved he's still in there.

Well, the most recent WS win was 2018
So, how about the 20th century vs. 21st century in baseball?

1917, 2017: AL team beats NL team in World Series; NL team moved from New York after 1957.
1918, 2018: Red Sox win World Series.
1919, 2019: AL team who won WS in ‘17 loses this year. Both teams that lose this championship find their asses in the jackpot with the league following this year’s World Series.
1920, 2020: Red Sox are without their franchise player for the first time following an offseason trade.

True, hopefully he just thought it was a pick-off attempt.

It did look like glasses went flying on the impact so that hope with O'Neill isn't too far-fetched. I hope.

Lol im turning this game off after whatever the hell that was. If any of these shitty middle infielders could hit then their awful defense would be excusable but they are all just bad in every aspect of the game.

This game is a metaphor for what I'd be like running a marathon. Might look okay at the start, but in the second half I'd definitely be running into other people and shitting all over myself.

I'm going home
Abreu has to know better than that. Way to wreck a lot of goodwill in one play.

Be nice if the second baseman could stay on his friggin' feet, too.

Nice job by the bullpen.

Crawford dominates for 5.2 innings, and then three relievers combine for 2.1 ip, 4 h, 4 r, 3 er, and 1 bb.

Awesome.

It's beyond ironic that Cora is often known as "The Genius" 'round these parts, but this might be the dumbest baseball team I've ever experienced.
