Really hate when a pitcher suddenly finds it again. From unable to throw a strike to firing 98 at the top of the zone. Tough.
Bound to happen when you play 162 of the damn things. Duvall is a monster but superhuman is still human.
A couple weeks ago I tried to feed one of those AI image generators the prompt "Brasier pitching for the Sox but his neck is even more fucked up" but all it kept spitting out was renders of Tilt looking like he always does. Make of that what you will.
Wrong part of the order coming up. Maybe Enrique jacks one, maybe Casas unfucks himself.

Leaving Crawford in to face Reynolds again was so stupid, I don’t care how tired the bullpen is.
Mantra to start the season was we just need to tread water until some guys come off the DL and bolster the rotation. Sitting at 2-2 and feels like we're doing that. Sucks because the O is on fire and we're squandering that, but it is what it is. Get 'em tomorrow.
Yeah. Shame our starters are putting them in such a bad position every night.
It sort of worked, but Tapia for Arroyo didn’t really make a lot of sense. Bednar has a reverse split. Seemed like Cora was PH just because that’s what you are supposed to do in the 9th. Not sure either move he made gave the Sox any kind of advantage.
Meanwhile, Rays starters McClanahan, Eflin, Springs and Rasmussen through the first four games of the season: 23 innings pitched, 30 strikeouts, 1 ER allowed
The Rays are really great at developing pitching. The Red Sox should consider hiring someone from their front office as GM.
They've also faced the Tigers & Nationals so far, but point still stands IMO

Now that I have a moment to respond to this, you can seriously question the parenting that took place last night from where you sat? Kid gets the thrill of his young life and you think that not letting him enjoy the moment or the rest of the game is the way to go? Publicly putting the kid's family on the spot on live TV is horseshit. Maybe good parenting involves letting the kid enjoy his moment without pressure and having a conversation about the meaning of this to Yoshida later.
