It pains me to agree with this, but I definitely do. Terrible fundamentals, brain-dead play all over the field.
I pretty much only watch the Devil Rays when they are stomping the Red Sox, but I very rarely see them make fundamentally dumb plays like this team has done the past few years.

I had the same thought. Cora and his staff just can't get a team to play well at all.

Which was the issue last year as well, it's become a pattern, a very concerning one.

Sox seemed well prepared out of the gate in each of Cora’s “first” seasons, pretty bad in all the rest.

2018 was spectacular, but it feels like Cora can’t choose coaches that help the players get the job done. Maybe it is time for a fresh start with a new GM, manager, and coaching staff.

I don't think managers are all that impactful in the scheme of things, so I'm more than happy if they both start to feel some heat very soon.
