4/6 (Day) Game 7: Tigers/Sox.

Everyone yelling at Brasier's stat line tomorrow needs to go watch that pitch. That was filthy.
I don't even know who the player in my avatar is, Nipper gave it to me since I didn't have one. I don't follow hockey.
My guess (and that's all it is) is that Cora used the better guys first, in the hopes they'd tack on a couple of runs and make the lead a bit bigger for someone not as good. If we assume that Brasiort will suck no matter the inning they pitch, using him earlier might just piss away the lead entirely. It didn't work out that way on either end -- the Sox didn't tack on and Brasier got through it -- but I *think* that's what the idea was.
That's inherent in needing 4 innings and only having 3 reliable relievers. It's a valid question as to whether "Sale for another inning" is worth a try to avoid "BrasiOrt for any inning."
Casas looks like Kato Kaelin, hopefully he will start hitting better than Kato.

Back to Back games (one by Pirates, one by Sox) with bonehead base running on essentially the same play. Surprising to see big leaguers mess up that basic play.
NESN's score bug has been horrible all year. They still showed Brasier in the game through like 10 pitches by Jansen.

OK, happy to admit I was a pansy about this game. Good to see some fight in the bats! And for Sale to buckle down, somewhat.
6-3 win, Raffy and Duvall hit bombs, Jansen got a 1-2-3 save, and Sale went 5 and got the win. On paper that’s a great game
