Rodon on the hill and a great test for him. Yankees shutout Baltimore for the first time of Baltimore's season. It's been a low scoring series so this is probably going to be another close one.

1pm start means you can still catch the Knicks tonight too! Although they have a ridiculous 9pm start.

Orioles haven't scored a run since the 4th inning on Tuesday. If Rodon gets through this inning, that's 17 scoreless straight.

Remember when NY traded for Gleyber and then soon after traded Jorge Mateo, who was at a similar development stage? Took a while but I bet they'd happily exchange those two now if they could.

Does anyone on the Yankees outside of Soto know how to hit a baseball?
They seemed to get back in a groove last weekend after moving Verdugo to cleanup and scoring 15 two games in a row, but then Verdugo went on paternity leave and they went back to not hitting.

Soto has hidden a lot of underperformance, particularly with the Judge, Rizzo, Gleyber, Stanton group. Volpe needs to find his groove again.

They miss Dominguez more than they miss Cole, I've been saying it all season.

Yup. He could be a great spark for this lineup when he returns. At some point, Judge should pick it up and maybe Gleyber will accidentally hit a ball out of the IF at some point as well.

He has literally hit a ball 350 feet just twice this whole season, both routine fly outs. He compensates by being pretty lousy defensively at least.

Astounding. Where did his power go? I guess even stars like Carroll and JRod go through this but it’s been so much weak contact in the games I’ve watched.

I think he is a serious head case (and always has been) and his free agency is looming this winter and he knows NY doesn't want him back.

Heh finally, but his defense probably cost them more than that last inning anyway (I wasn't watching, just looking at the box score).

That was a 53 game homerless streak for Gleyber, going back to 2023.

Well, we'll trade that for a Knicks win tonight, thanks in advance to the sports gods there.

#Yankees offense in 4-game series vs. Orioles: 6 total runs scored (Yankees fewest in 4-game series since September 12-14, 2014 at Baltimore)

Scored no more than 2 runs in each game (Yankees 1st 4-game series in which they scored fewer than 3 runs in each game since May 12-15, 2008 at Tampa Bay)

Juan Soto also batted .429 during the series while the rest of the team hit just .145.

Not sure who’s up next, I’ll start one later if no one else does.
