Court sucked. Judge had already made up his mind long before I even subbed into the case, but I still feel bad about the result.

Excited about WUILLIAMS FCL debut, though.

The box score looks much different (in a good way) than it did earlier.

Nicolas De La Cruz pitched a 1-2-3 1st with 2 strikeouts.

I was originally told he had allowed a run in the 2nd & only gotten one put, but it turns out Yeferson Vargas started that inning & allowed the run. That's good news because I like NDLC & don't think Vargas is a very good pitcher (although I would bet on him in a boxing match).

Vargas allowed 2 ER in 3 IP on 5 hits & a walk with 4 k's.

Next WUILLIAMS Rodriguez came in & got out all 6 hitters he faced with a strikeout.

The recently demoted Denis Reguillo hit a guy & let a guy reach on an error (thx Mikey), but didn't allow a run & picked up the save in a 3-2 victory in the 7 inning game.

Kleyver Salazar was 1-2 with a triple & a walk.

Franklin Arias was 1-4 with a double.

Andruw Musett was 0-1 with 2 walks.

Kelvin Diaz was 1-2 with a hbp, a steal (3) & a cs (1).

Raimundo De Los Santos was 0-2 with a walk & a steal (4).

Mikey Romero was 0-2 with a hbp.

Some Brian Fellow guy got a spot start for Portland today.

He Safari Planet'd his way to allowing 3 runs, 2 earned in 2.2 innings, hits, 2 bb, 5 k. 52 pitches, 32 strikes (61.5%.

In all seriousness, good to have Brayan Bello back & throwing, even if there is more work to do.

Wyatt Olds got a strikeout to end the 3rd & then HELCRIS came out & did Helcris things...

& then Jonathan Brand came out & did Jonathan Brand things, pitching 2 scoreless innings with a hit & 2 k's.

In 9 games & 16.2 IP across 2 levels, Brand hasn't allowed an earned run.

Grant Gambrell allowed one run in each of the 1st, 4th, 5th & 6th innings.

Jorge Benitez has been getting lit up a LOT lately, including 3 runs in 1.1 IP, including 4 walks today.

The Kwiat Assassin pitched the last 0.2 scoreless, but allowed a hit.

Worcester lost 7-5.
