Glad that was upheld. Great throw.
EDIT: Nevermind, I’m watching with the sound off and it looked like the play was resuming.

I don't think he did. That was a tough play. He hit his head on the non padded area. It was a high jump. That's why he didn't catch it. That was hard impact. Anyone comparing him (Or anybody) to JBJ isn't fair either.Duran lost track of where he was. He just doesn't have the instincts of an outfielder.
On the other hand, hell of a throw from Verdugo.
Yeah It looks like when he hit his head he lost the ball and couldn't hold it. It would've been an amazing play.I don't think he did. That was a tough play. He hit his head on the non padded area. He absolutely did. He jumped as if he was a half step from the wall when he was at the wall. Good outfielders know where they are in relation to the wall even when they don't look back. He either miscalculated or he guessed (wrong).I don't think he did. That was a tough play. He hit his head on the non padded area. It was a high jump. That's why he didn't catch it. The team has noticed it now too. Mound visit.Sale's fastball has been 90-92 the last 2 innings
In your opinion. Not in mine. That was a solid play. He had that catch if not for impact. If that padding went up higher that's a catch. He absolutely did. Not saying he should have caught it but clearly he hit the wall before he expected to.
Jackie Bradley makes that catch in his sleep. In your opinion. Not in mine. That was a solid play. He had that catch if not for impact. If that padding went up higher that's a catch.
And here comes Sale out of the game with ??????
Anyone who knows was watching a helluva lot more closely than I was. The booth seems to be in the dark, though of course they’re trained not to speculate. Not watching what was it?
No idea, Cora and the trainer came out to the mound without much build-up. Cora's expression was of great concern. Suddenly the whole bullpen started warming up. Sale threw a couple pitches, they came out again and pulled him.Not watching what was it?
Wow. I started thinking about that after the first two innings. If he pitched like Chris Sale for the first half, he could really bring some talent back from a contending team.Well there goes my hope of trading Sale at the deadline.
Yeah , let's compare everybody to JBJ. That's fair.Jackie Bradley makes that catch in his sleep.
Tyquan Thornton almost made a nice grab near the sideline against Myles Bryant in OTAs -- it's not all bad.If it is somehow super serious, this is truly a banner week for Boston sports
Both of them.Jackie Bradley makes that catch in his sleep.
Its tough to tell if was something with his legs that then made his arm and should whip around or if it was just the arm. Recoil is a good description of what it looked like. That was a strange reaction after he released the pitch. Like his body recoiled.
It was. That's why you wonder if it's something weird other than just some injury or muscular thing. That was a strange reaction after he released the pitch. Like his body recoiled.
Too bad they couldn't hire someone like you with the ability to see into the future and predict injuries.Wow a shocking turn of events that a guy who is literally always injured has once again got hurt.
It's almost like he can no longer play professional baseball and counting on him to be healthy was completely absurd and worthy of firing.
