I have been back for about 3 minutes and nothing much has happened, so I hope the game is safe. I will have to get a look at the bottom of the sixth sometime. I feel I missed out.

I don't understand going to Martin there instead of giving Winckoski another inning. I know you go hard after the wins you can, but using the whole bullpen in game 1 of a DH seems like a bad idea.

I was thinking the same thing. If you're burning Wink for today, maybe try to get another frame from him. He did feel like he was getting some BABIP benefit though.

I was a bit curious about that as well. Unexpected day off for the pen yesterday, but still. Game one of a DH, plus game one of four against a team that is likely to score runs against you.
