Red Sox selling Sale's return hard. I received an email from the ticket office telling me tickets are available for this one.
Here I am with one negative thought: Skubal has a lower ERA than Sale, and every time I notice the Tigers he's the winning pitcher.

We've burned through our bullpen pretty good the past few days. It's not going to be easy. Hopefully, the offense can give some breathing room.
That's the key. The runs are going to have to be put up today or it may be a long game with back of the pen guys.
What is this lineup? Verdugo & Casas need to be switched.

It's a LH starter who is expected to go multiple times through the lineup. I'm just glad they are getting Casas in the lineup against him, even if it wouldn't be happening if Turner were available.

Weren't there lefties in the early innings yesterday? Wasn't Casas 4th then?
No reason to be hitting 8th.
LHBs with a 220 OPS against Skubal. Verdugo hits LHPs better than Casas. That's a reason
Skubal's L/R splits aren't too extreme, so I guess Cora just likes the idea of alternating RHH/LHH all night?
Sale looks good. I still would like to see him eat a cheeseburger and fries now and then. The guy has no chest to speak of.
It's too bad that Skubal doesn't have a screwball. Or maybe he does except they don't really call it a screwball any more.
