Let’s make it three in a row. Make me happy. Winning baseball is joyful.

Red Sox selling Sale's return hard. I received an email from the ticket office telling me tickets are available for this one.

We've burned through our bullpen pretty good the past few days. It's not going to be easy. Hopefully, the offense can give some breathing room.
I think they'll probably ask Barraclough to follow Sale

That's the key. The runs are going to have to be put up today or it may be a long game with back of the pen guys.

What is this lineup? Verdugo & Casas need to be switched.

Refsnyder LF, Devers 3B, Duvall CF, Yoshida DH, Story SS, Verdugo RF, Reyes 2B, Casas 1B, Wong C

It's a LH starter who is expected to go multiple times through the lineup. I'm just glad they are getting Casas in the lineup against him, even if it wouldn't be happening if Turner were available.

Behold! Observe! Attention! Hail!
Tonight we welcome back Chris Sale!
Often grumpy and sometimes pale,
Chris may be as thin as a rail,
but Friday night, he’ll tilt the scale,
disprove the claim that he is frail,
throw bullets like he’s hunting quail,
and make the hitters fan and flail.
Our healed-up hero will unveil
curves that dance like a Chippendale
and make the hitters whiff and wail.
Devastating, he will derail
the Tiger’s hopes and make them fail.
In future days, we will regale
our children with the epic tale
of how he helped the Sox prevail
and led us to The Holy Grail.

(But if injuries make him bail,
it just might be our coffin nail.)

Weren't there lefties in the early innings yesterday? Wasn't Casas 4th then?

No reason to be hitting 8th.

It's too bad that Skubal doesn't have a screwball. Or maybe he does except they don't really call it a screwball any more.

Lol Baez. Just a hideous contract that everyone knew was a disaster from the jump.
