Game 118
For the 6th home game in a row we donned
the yellow jerseys because they had spawned
a winning streak, but it seems we were conned.
There’s no good luck color: One could turn blonde
and still have less fun. There’s no magic wand.
Remember the good old days when we fawned
about our offense? Of late, we’ve just yawned
over lame at bats and ducks on the pond.
If we don’t want other teams to abscond
with our playoff spot like they are James Bond,
swing a big stick rather than a small frond!
Game time: High Noon. Time for us to respond.

So far the worst the Sox could play and still be “in it” was 7-3 going back to the start of the Royals series, for the 10-game stretch against weak opponents. 3-1 against KC. Losing yesterday really is “backs to the wall” for the next 4 games. They need to scrape a win away from ERod and sweep DC. to set themselves up for the upcoming gauntlet which I don’t expect them to play better than .500

McGuire is 28, not 68.
I dont see the relevance.

Catchers need more off days than other positions
No one, particularly 6 year olds, care who is playing at C

But more importantly, Sunday makes sense for Reese as there many more empty parking lots on Sundays as opposed to weekdays.

Broadcast already looks terrible

Blown-out, weirdly blurry. Colors look like butt.

He's still one of our best hitters and certainly has a better hitting pedigree than Urias

And is #1 player on the team who people, especially kids, show up to see.
Absolutely. And chances are a little better that he’s more likely to get un-fukt facing a pitcher than just watching a game.
I’m a little grumpy about his overall game this season regardless he should still be playing today.

Miami (oh, Miami!)
Also, can one actually sync gameday and the radio broadcast? The radio seems significantly delayed compared to game day.

Edit - about 60 seconds delayed.
