Well, that was a very good first game for my kids to experience. We were stuck in some traffic and had some other logistical issues so we were just walking down the aisle to our seats when Urias hit the salami. I told my kids not to cheer too loudly for the Sox during the game (I told them the story about how I got a beer dumped on me as I was walking into the old Toilet wearing a Sox cap as a 14 yr old back in 1978), but I needn’t have worried. There were plenty of Sox fans wearing gear in attendance and quite a few ‘mixed’ Sox/Yanks couples in the stands. My son wanted to know why Yankee fans were leaving en masse in the 8th after Judge’s last at bat :D

I fear I might have jinxed the no-no in the 6th when I asked if Crawford’s pitch count was visible on the scoreboard.
