You’d think that would be one of the best places to get plunked. That’s where the hero always get shot in the movies.
in fairness, he literally hit the bag. I think it’s fair that he took the approach that he was trying to do a perfect bunt down the line which is a not a terrible idea. If he fails, he’s up 3-1 in the count and the third basemen can’t shade him so much
Considering how bad Javier looks tonight, Sox should have more runs.

Yeah, I guess if now the Astors have to think about it and it makes a difference for positioning later in the game, it's a decent investment.
Rafi must have been looking for a fastball on 3-1, because that was a pitch he is capable of hitting a thousand feet.
